Rain and thundershowers accompanied with lightning, thunder and strong winds are likely between 30th March and 01st April. Weekend on Friday, 31st March will find strong weather activity during evening and night.
Light to moderate scattered rain activities are expected to commence once again over Delhi from March 31st. It may continue for at least next three to four days with short breaks in between.
Intensity and spread will be relatively more between 17th and 19th March and an outside chance of a hailstorm can not be ruled out in some parts of Delhi/NCR on 18th and 19th March.
No more rains are expected for the next 10 days or so. However, the surface winds are going to become stronger tomorrow and persist for the rest of the week, raising the chill factor, especially in the morning hours.
An active western disturbance will approach the Western Himalayas on 23rd Jan. The weather system will induce a cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan. These two systems will compliment each other for the next about 4-5 days. Under the combined influence of circulation and western disturbance, layer of medium clouds is likely to descend over Delhi and adjoining parts.
