Nigerian Policemen Extort N385,000 From Nurse In Delta, Seize Drugs, Goods

Personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, Delta State Command, have extorted N385,000 from an auxiliary nurse and a patent medicine store owner, Blessing Ejike, in Azagba-Ogwash community, Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State. SaharaReporters learnt that six policemen committed the fraud, when they accosted the nurse, who was arrested and taken to the Azagba-Ogwash police post.

Nigerian Police Foil Robbery Attack In Delta, Recover Arms, Ammunition

The Delta State Command of the Nigeria Police Force says it has foiled an armed attack in Asaba, the state capital. ย  The Command's spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, adding that the incident happened around 4.30 pm on Sunday. ย  Edafe said the command also recovered a fabricated AK-47 rifle with 12 rounds of 9mm live ammunition and 23 live cartridges which were abandoned by the hoodlums. ย

Medical Doctor Narrates How Nigerian Policemen Robbed Him At Gunpoint In Delta

A medical doctor, Dr Henry Nneji has detailed how operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, Delta State Command robbed him of N50,000 at gunpoint at Idumukpoko Junction. Dr Nneji, who narrated his encounter with the said policemen, called on the Nigerian Inspector General of Police, Baba Usman to fish out the operatives and retrain them. He decried the impunity with which the personnel robbed him at gunpoint, adding that they can only be better described as armed robbers in police uniform.

Nigerian Police Declare Delta Resident Wanted For Killing Teenager While Testing Gun

The Nigeria Police Force, Delta State command, has declared a 27-year-old man identified as Kome Ogaga wanted for allegedly killing an 11-year-old boy identified as Hossana Merritt. The spokesman of the Delta State Command, DSP Bright Edafe declared Ogaga wanted in a tweet posted in his official twitter handle @Brightgoldenboy on Thursday. According to him, the suspect killed the teenager on Monday, August 22, 2022 while he was testing a locally made gun.
