While the nation witnessed video of the savage beating by Memphis Police officers of Tyre Nichols, a Black man who pleaded for his life, one who did not watch was Nichols' mother, RowVaughn Wells.

Kings daughter said Tyre Nichols death was part of a long line of police brutality that stretched from her dad to the "I cant breathe" chokehold death of Eric Garner in 2014, to the murder in Minneapolis of George Floyd in 2020.

The three arrests all transpired near Seventh Avenue and 43rd Street Friday night, in the heart of the citys Times Square, as protests of the police-beating death quickly turned violent.
