Under the deal, Biomerics will merge with the medical businesses of Precision Concepts International LLC (PCI) of Mooresville, N.C., and Precision Concepts Group LLC (PCG) of of Winston-Salem, N.C.

Salt Lake City-based Biomerics LLC has acquired Fairfield, Calif.-based Dependable Plastics & Pattern Inc. and created a new division aimed at the interventional robotic surgical market.
