EAST CANTON – Longtime village Police Chief Derrick Blake recently served a three-day suspension without pay for what village officials say was falling short of expectations in job performance. Village leaders sent Blake a letter outlining three areas of concern and stated he "was declared guilty of misfeasance and nonfeasance."
