Reporter raj, state water Officials Say we are wasting the most water here, outside, doing things just like this. Washing down the sidewalk and washing down our driveways. Starting in august, that could cost you a 500 fine. But there are exceptions. Powerwashing may seem like a waste of water. But the manager at the Cadillac Hotel in San Franciscos tenderloin says its a must. The urine. Reporter the department of public works gets nearly one thousand requests a month to clean up human waste. More than half are in the tenderloin. Cleaning crews use as much as 600 gallons of water a day. People who live here say its not a waste. People are health area risks, with feces, garbage, needles.
