Planning board members were underwhelmed by the proposed design for a planned entertainment complex on a 20-acre property on Williams Road.

Visit Knoxville said more investors are getting interested in building around the city.

Estero residents living near the Brooks Town Center are appealing a development order that gave developers the green light to build a multi-family residential building.

Estero Village Council unanimously voted to affirm a development order Dec. 13 for a four-story, 137-unit apartment complex at the northwest corner of Three Oaks Parkway and Coconut Road.  

Residents of The Brooks in Estero lost their appeal Wednesday to stop a 4-story apartment complex from being built at the northeast corner of Three Oaks Parkway and Coconut Road.Long Bay Partners LLC, Top-CR Associates LLC and PAC Estero Apartments plan to tear down the former Winn-Dixie grocery store at the Brooks Town Center to make room for the 137 high-end apartments.

Proposals for a 111-room Home2 Suites and a 171-unit townhome development were heard during a public information meeting. 

A public information meeting for a proposed 260-student, 14,700-square-foot school at the southwest corner of Corkscrew and River Ranch roads took place at a Nov. 14 Estero Planning, Zoning and Design Board meeting.

The Estero Planning, Zoning, and Design Board approved a development order for a five-story, 115-room Hilton Garden Inn at 8009 Sweetwater Ranch Blvd. The 2.16-acre site is cleared and vacant at the southwest corner of Via Villagio and Sweetwater Ranch Boulevard.
