Desolate, desolate beach, absent of tourism. out there in the gulf of mexico, the "whale," larger than life skimming vessel is a 1,000 long, ten story tall ship fitted to become a skimming vessel, supposedly according to the owners, it can skim up to half a million barrels of oil a day. thats 500,000 barrel as day. to date, over 76 days, about 673,000 barrels have been successfully skimmed by a group that is made up of 550 ships. if this test proves true, and it doesly up to the hype, that means...
