News News: Get ready for the highly anticipated second season of 'Kerala Crime Files'. Aju Varghese confirms the return of the series with a mysterious poster. Produced by Monkey Business Studios, the upcoming season promises a thrilling journey into crime and investigation.

Despite receiving positive reviews from audiences, Pendulum still remains unsold on OTT platforms

Directed by Ahammed Khabeer, Kerala Crime Files centres around the murder of a sex worker at a lodge and the subsequent police probe that unfolds. The series stars Aju Varghese and Lal in the lead roles.

After making waves with his multiple award winning Aavasavyuham, director Krishand returns with the equally gloriously kookie and clever Purusha Pretham.

Actor Darshana Rajendran, who won hearts with Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, is back behind the wheel again, but this time in the dark-comedy investigation thriller Purusha Pretham. Darshana gives us an exclusive sneak peek into the film's world, as she remarks on a variety of topics.

Going by the reviews, Purusha Pretham is a satire and explores the discrimination in a society that includes the department and men at large. The movie is a never-before attempt at showcasing the conditions of the police force, their stress, and life from another perspective.

Living and the dead have become unpredictable now,” says a character in Purusha Pretham (Male Ghost). In Aavasavyuham, it was a living being that caused much chaos.

If Aavasavyuham was an arbit documentation of an amphibian hunt, Purusha Pretham, starring Darshana Rajendran and Prasanth Alexander, is an arbit documentation of a comedy of errors.

The story flows in a very straight path, without unexpected turns or strange abstractions that you might expect from someone who made a surrealistic film like ‘Aavasavyuham’.

Pendulum is directed by debutante Rejin S Babu, who hails from the Thrissur district of Kerala
