As executive director of SBN, she is committed to serving and advocating for the advancement of small businesses and underrepresented communities.

The organization's celebration of the region's local business community also included the presentation of the first-ever Triple Bottom Champion award.

“Consumers have the power to vote with their dollars,” said Ramkissoon, “and we're voting for the world we want to live in, by choosing to support small businesses."
