Jurors at a coroner’s inquest into the death of a New Brunswick man who died while working at a sawmill have released their safety recommendations.

The jury for the inquest into Troy Bourque's death determined it was accidental. They put forward three recommendations to prevent similar incidents.

A sawmill worker who died at Devon Lumber in Fredericton in 2019 became trapped between conveyor belt covers and the bottom of the catwalk, witnesses said at the first day of the inquest into Troy Bourque's death. 

A coroners inquest has been scheduled into the death of a worker at a sawmill in Fredericton more than three years ago.

The Fredericton Police Force has taken down another tent encampment, the fourth in the city this year, leaving occupants wondering where they'll turn next and concerned they're being unfairly blamed for crime in the community.
