Mumbai Police joined in to commemorate the day with a sweet post assuring citizens that they are always there for them.

The first phase of the Dial-100 programme was launched in the state in November 2015 with the aim to respond to the cry calls of the victims seeking police help.

A special software will be installed in CCTV cameras, which will have photographs, sketches of listed criminals of all areas in the city.

Around 180 students visited Dial-100 and CCTV surveillance service centre to understand the functioning and backroom operations of the police.
