To enable access to various services, the Indian governments e-governance platform, MyGov Helpdesk, developed a chatbot on WhatsApp. The ability to download Aadhaar and PAN cards is one of them.

WhatsApp news: Before downloading, make sure these documents should be saved in your Digilocker account.

You can use WhatsApp to download documents like your PAN card, drivers licence, and vehicle registration certificate, among others. A number of services will be available through the MyGov Helpdesk on WhatsApp to assist citizens.

Essentially, this new WhatsApp chatbot is aimed at making it easier for the govt to deliver its services. At the same time, users will also get access to all documents they need within a few seconds

WhatsApp users can use the chatbot by simply sending ‘Namaste or Hi or Digilocker’ to the WhatsApp number +91 9013151515 to download Digilocker documents such as PAN card, driving license, vehicle registration certificate, among others.
