Seth Buckley, chairperson of the troubled Honolulu Liquor Commission, intends to step down from that board before year’s end, the city says.

Some Honolulu businesses have received more than one inspection a month and others none at all, the commission heard.

The commission is under fire from bar owners and council members for inappropriate actions during the pandemic.
