Nearly five inches of rain has fallen on parts of the Ozarks.

Heavy rain and flooding have hit Southwest Missouri overnight, with the National Weather Service in Springfield reporting 2-5 inches of rain across the region. 

Traffic is starting to open up along I80.

Across the state, MODOT is short 30% of normal staffing levels.

In Pontotoc, one road is closed for the safety of the traveling public. Off of highway 41 coming off of highway 15 the shoulder on the road fell two to three feet.

Road crews continue to treat road conditions as snow moves through Mid-Missouri ABC 17 News COLUMBIA, MO (KMIZ) MoDOTs crews have been out all day Saturday pretreating and treating roads throughout the winter weather event.
