Mayor Craig Ford's goal is to relocate U.S. Highway 411 and create a pedestrian green space along the Coosa River.

The ordinance presented by Mayor Craig Ford’s administration was approved by the Public Safety Committee on Aug. 8.

The money would come from the citys undesignated General Fund balance.
