LAKE PLACID — Dmitry Feld, USA Luge marketing manager and a community leader in Lake Placid, passed away early Wednesday afternoon at the age of 68.

Field was also involved in the local community in Lake Placid, and over the last few years he helped to raise money and hold collections for the people in his native Ukraine.
