Prophet River First Nation (PRFN) will host its first Gathering of Drummers from June 12th to June 19th at the Sikanni Ranch near Pink Mountain.

Saturday, May 18, is International Museum Day. The North Peace Historical Society is offering FREE admission to the museum for EVERYONE between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The winds did not push the fire towards the community and neighbouring First Nation, as officials feared, but they are warning that could change easily.

An entire city in B.C.s Peace region has been placed on evacuation alert due to the threat from a wildfire.

In a release on Monday, the nation said it was advised that the imminent risk of danger to life and property in the area had diminished.
