Candidates in Ward 1, Ward 2 and Ward 4 participated in Tuesday's forum held at Dakota Wesleyan University's campus.

All four Mitchell City Council races include an incumbent candidate, as does the mayoral race.

“I’m just glad the campaign is over. It’s just great to know the people of Ward 4 trust me and know I’m committed to representing them and doing what’s best for our community,” Tjarks said.

Voters will decide a number of key Mitchell Board of Education and City Council positions, along with two ballot measures involving the planned Mitchell High School project and Lake Mitchell.
