FORT SMITH -- Tuesdays Planning Commission meeting became a forum for city residents to air their grievances about the overlay district for the incoming military pilot training program -- and the program itself.

Daniel Aspinwall and Chris Woodall have been with the company over 25 years.

The planning commission’s recommendation for the zoning change for 815 South 6th St. will go to the board of directors April 5 meeting.

The Fort Smith planning commission voted 7-2 against the zoning needed for Next Step Homeless Services to relocate out of the downtown area.
