Don Riffe News Today

Kaitlin Riffe of Herculaneum writes a book on the trauma of losing her parents. Her father was the former Jefferson College Police Chief Don Riffe.

In the 50 - 50 raffle alone the event raised more than $57,000. But participants won't find out the full amount raised until February.

In addition to losing 25 law enforcement professionals in the line of duty this year, there are 13 widows and 54 children who’ve lost a parent.

Chief Don Riffe died last Thursday after an extended stay in the hospital due to an ongoing battle with COVID-19.
