East London estate now partially off the grid
More than 100 homes at Coral Beach Estate in Winterstrand near East London are partially off the grid following the launch of a multimillion-rand solar panel project last week. This means that Eskom has been replaced as the main power supplier to the estate as it is now going to be used as a backup to the project.
