(CNN) — One of two giant rubber ducks on display in Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbor was deflated on Saturday to protect it from sweltering temperatures.

HONG KONG (Reuters): A pair of Rubber Ducks made a splash in Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour on Friday (June 9), part of an art installation dubbed 'Double Ducks' by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, who says he hopes the ducks will bring happiness to the city.

Ten years after a giant inflatable yellow duck captivated crowds in Hong Kong, the art installation returned to the citys Victoria Harbour on Friday as a double-bill exhibition.

The two inflatable yellow ducks, 18 metres high, will sail on the harbour for two weeks.

Its not every day that you see a giant 60-foot-tall rubber duck floating in Hong Kong waters, let alone two.
