Douwe Bob News Today

Former Dutch Eurovision contestant Douwe Bob has confirmed to RTL Boulevard that he has co-written Numidia's sumbitted song to represent The Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, in Malmö.

The Dutch entry for the Eurovision Song Contest was eliminated in the semifinals on Tuesday. Mia Nicolai and Dion Cooper did not generate enough votes from the viewing audience to advance to the final round, making it the first time that singers from the Netherlands will be absent in the finals since 2015.

Dutch singers Mia Nicolai and Dion Cooper are currently working with several coaches, including a singing coach, as part of their preparations for their performance at the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool. The Dutch Eurovision entry has been under scrutiny since last week after delivering two heavily criticized and not-entirely-flawless performances in Madrid and Amsterdam.

Douwe Bob heeft zich nog nooit zo "senang" over zichzelf en zijn muziek gevoeld als nu hij zijn vijfde album Born To Win, Born To Lose uitbrengt. De zanger vertelt in gesprek met NU.nl dat hij ook niet meer zo competitief is als hij in het begin van zijn carrière was.
