Please respect the family and friends as they lay Joseph “Bubby” Knott to rest. Intersections and multiple roadway will be closed by First Responders as family gives Bubby one last ride around his farm and Trading Post properties. The Bay District, Second District Volunteer Fire Departments along with St. Mary's County Department of Emergency Services, St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and Maryland State Police will be assisting and conducting lane / road closures.

On Monday, January 8, 2024, at approximately 2:50 p.m., firefighters from Second District, Bay District, NAS Patuxent River, Leonardtown and Hollywood responded to the 46000 block of Drayden Road in Valley Lee, for the reported house on fire.

On Sunday, March 26, 2023, at approximately 1145 a.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the area of Drayden Road and Flat Iron Road in Valley Lee, for the reported motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.
