An Ankeny man has received a 30-year prison sentence for causing a deadly crash in Story County.

Members of Maxwell's VFW and American Legion hosted their monthly dinner on Saturday and plan to donate the proceeds to the Sievert family.

A man who refused to stop for law enforcement caused a deadly crash Wednesday night, according to the Iowa State Patrol.

The Iowa State Patrol estimates the driver was going 130 mph when he caused an accident that killed a Maxwell, Iowa man.
