No. 5 Hillside jumped out to a 30-point lead and never looked back as the Hornets defeated Southern Alamanace 44-22 on Friday in the regular-season finale to claim the DAC-VII conference title. Balanced and prolific on offense, Hillside recorded three of its six touchdowns through the air and the other three via the ground game. In the first half alone, quarterback Wilson Kargbo Jr. threw two touchdown passes and ran for another.

Wilson Kargbo Jr. threw four touchdown passes and the Hillside defense recorded its second shutout of the season as the No. 6 Hornets defeated Riverside on Friday, 27-0. The win keeps Hillside unbeaten at 7-0. Riverside, which entered on a three-game winning streak, is now 4-2.
