Authorities have announced charges in the 1981 murder of Denise Pierson, and identified an alleged co-conspirator who has since died. Two additional suspects remain under investigation in connection with the case.

Denise Marie Pierson was killed in Marcus Hook in 1981. Four decades later, Delaware County prosecutors charged Wayne Anthony Walker, 58, with murder for his alleged role in her death. They also implicated Peter Horne, who died in prison in 2013. Two additional suspects are under investigation.
