A car owner posted poison pen letters signed off with “Merry Christmas, you Grinch” through all their neighbours’ letterboxes after being told off about their parking in an unsigned note.

Now, near the gate to the property that was in the Whitehead family for four generations, there is a boulder displaying a plaque that former Isabella County Parks and Recreation Director Sue Ann Kopmeyer arranged to honor the family that recently sold a four-acre plot that's now part of Meridian Park.
