New findings showcase a robust increase in housing values and rents

Brisbane’s property values saw a significant turnaround in 2023 from the negative growth experienced in the latter months of 2022, despite 5 interest rate rises throughout the year. Over the 12 months to December, Brisbane dwelling values increased 13.1 per cent. December’s increase saw 2023 finish with growth moderating month to month, but still well and truly in positive growth territory. Since May 2023, Brisbane dwelling values have been rising by more than 1 per cent every month.

Around 35% of suburbs saw an uptick in dwelling values following a 0.9% lift in national home values
