Thompson Foundation Marks $1 Million In Giving Tuesday, March 2, 2021 Thompson Engineering, a multi-disciplined engineering firm with offices in eight Southeastern states, announced Tuesday that the Thompson Foundation, the charitable fund of affiliated companies Thompson Engineering, Watermark Design, and Thompson Consulting Services, awarded its millionth dollar. The Thompson Foundation awards grants to non-profits and scholarships to students across the affiliated companies’ footprint. “The Thompson companies have a long history of community service and philanthropic giving and we’re proud to be able to contribute financially to mission-based, non-profit organizations and programs,” said John Baker, chairman of Thompson Holdings and CEO of Thompson Engineering. “The real heroes of this achievement are the numerous charities that use these funds to do great work to better our communities.”

TPS Launching Program For Students To Complete Associate s Degree While Earning Diploma

Friday, February 5th 2021, 8:34 am By: Tess Maune TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa Public Schools is putting the future in focus for some of its students with a new program that combines high school with college. TPS said McLain High School and Memorial High School will launch the “Early College High School Program” in the 2021-2022 school year. The program will give students the chance to complete their associate s degree from Tulsa Community College, for free, while they earn their high school diploma. TPS said all current eighth-graders in the district are eligible for the program, but must apply to attend McLain or Memorial.
