Police investigate officer-involved shooting in Stratford

State police were called Friday night to the scene of an officer-involved shooting in Stratford, according to a release.
A suspect was seen “entering a vehicle at which time Stratford Police officers attempted a traffic stop where force was used,” according to a release from Connecticut State Police.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:35 p.m. on Main Street in Stratford “during an attempt to serve a felony warrant for domestic charges,” police said, confirming that a firearm was discovered at the scene.

HARTFORD, Conn. State Police say they are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Hartford.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. on Gilman Street in the city s South End. State Police say the Eastern District Major Crimes Squad (EDMCS) was requested to respond to the scene.
