UFC Rankings Review: Khamzat Chimaev is Back? April 30, 2021 Editorial Commentary by Peter Parsons In this week’s UFC rankings, many fighters were taken out of the rankings due to inactivity, change in weight division or in the case of Tyron Woodley, not re-signing at the end of his contract. We see a lot of fresh faces in the rankings this week and a familiar face at welterweight. Khamzat Chimaev re-enters the welterweight rankings at No. 15 For regular readers of this column, you may be g...

Editorial Commentary by Peter Parsons Like two weeks ago, this week there was once again a lot of movement in the bottom half of the heavyweight rankings. In both cases, the movement happened without any of the four fighters having had a recent fight. Kevin Lee ranked ahead of Al Iaquinta? In the UFC lightweight...

Editorial Commentary by Peter Parsons I always find it interesting when there is a change in the rankings and the fighters that moved places have not had recent fights. This was the case when the UFC rankings came out last week with Casey Kenney and Alexa Grasso appearing at No. 15 in their weight divisions, replacing Marlon Vera and Montana De La Rosa, respectively. Marlon Vera – Unranked at Bantamweight Marlon Vera was replaced by Casey Kenney, who entered the bantamweight rankings at No....

That really did away with every justice department protocol up until then, which is to announce the end of an investigation without any editorial commentary, the reason he said was that it happened because of the meeting between loretta lynch, the attorney general, and bill clinton. what he told members of congress was not that. in fact what he told members of congress, according to cnn reporting, is that the reason he felt compelled to go public with his edtiorializing about his decision on the...
