The Nicola Valley Health Care Auxiliary recently donated a defibrillator to the Merritt Fire and Rescue Department. The donated automated external defibrillator, or AED, replaces a model utlized by the department that has been discontinued by the manufacturer, according to Chief Dave Tomkinson.
