A lawsuit filed by three western Pa. school districts claims the state Department of Education is imposing 'woke' guidelines that reflects a political agenda.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education has released new standards that ask teachers to interrogate their biases and recognize inequality in schools and school systems, including institutional racism.

The standards are meant to prepare teachers to work with students and families of all backgrounds and will be required as part of the state’s certification process.
