There is concern that the upcoming Israeli elections will significantly reduce construction and lead to further increases in housing prices across Israel.

The shortage is so bad that, at this rate, housing prices in Tel Aviv will reach 100,000 shekels per square meter.

Housing prices could rise if more workers not brought in, quota not increased by 90%.

Conflicting messages from Israeli authorities cause tens of thousands of Palestinian laborers to be stuck in the West Bank, unable to reenter Israel for work.
