Electricity Rebate Program News Today

Strong economic activity this year will see Alberta make historic investments in savings and debt reduction.

President of Treasury Board and Minister of Finance Jason Nixon issued the following statement on affordability in Alberta:

New legislation would enable the government to provide electricity and natural gas rebates to hard-working Albertans.

The Alberta government tabled a bill on Wednesday that would allow the implemention of electricity and natural gas rebates announced earlier this year.
