A new malware that can take control of your social media accounts has been discovered circulating in around 20 countries. As per a report by cybersecurity researchers from Check Point Research (CPR) a malware dubbed as Electron Bot, is being disturbed on PCs through Microsoft Store.

Fake versions of popular games such as Temple Run and Subway Surfers are being used to distribute dangerous malware through the Microsoft Store to users of Windows 10 and Windows 11.

The new malware called Electron Bot that is capable of gaining control of users’ social media accounts including Facebook, Google, Soundcloud and even YouTube.
