In the iconic elevator sequence, Johanna Mason, played by Malone, surprises Katniss, Haymitch Abernathy (Woody Harrelson), and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) by stripping down after expressing dissatisfaction with her stylist. Malone revealed, "Jen was sick that day, so I ended up doing it without Jen, and so there werent a lot of people in the elevator. So I think we were just winging it and trying to get as much as we could get, cause it was [shot] in a real hotel."
