About a month after the postponement of the official opening date, most of the people who used to spend hours in the old building are going to National Library of Israel in its new building

The new library has a distinctive curved roof shaped like an open book, 11-story structure—with six floors above ground and five below, and opens in late October.

The amendment impacting the library is expected to allow the ministry to control appointments to the library board, as well as to increase "transparency and public oversight" of the institution.

We remain the People of the Book and the National Library should remain as a treasure trove for all.
