Israel at 75: Happy, Free and Alive

Fifty years ago, as a young student activist deeply involved in the Religious Zionists of America, the Mizrachi Organization’s arm in the United States, I started a PR campaign for Israel and called it “Israel at 25, Happy Free and Alive.” Being professionally involved in graphic arts and print marketing, I printed up thousands of “Israel at 25” bumper stickers which eventually adorned the bumpers of many cars in numerous Jewish communities in the United States.
