I have to be optimistic, Tate said, because I m a firm believer that for every problem there is a solution. Reaching those solutions, he admits, means asking some difficult questions and the persistency to get the answers to those tough questions. It requires us all working together, Tate said. On Saturday, a caucus of the Democratic Party precinct committeemen from Wabash Township elected Tate, a retired Purdue University professor, to serve the 20-month term remaining on the board, Tippecanoe County Democratic Party Chairwoman Jacque Chosnek confirmed Wednesday.

Effective immediately, I submit my notice of resignation from the Wabash Township Advisory Board, Wietbrock wrote.  This decision was not made lightly, but rather with no other choice due to increased family needs and health issues. Teising wrote, I wish Michelle the best in her future endeavors and was sorry to hear about her personal struggles.
