New board member is optimistic about solving Wabash Township problems

David Tate, a retired Purdue University professor, was elected Saturday, April, 10, 2021, by caucus to fill the remaining 20-month term on the Wabash Township Board.
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — David Tate knows what awaits him on the Wabash Township Board, which is at loggerheads with Jennifer Teising, the township trustee.
"I have to be optimistic," Tate said, "because I'm a firm believer that for every problem there is a solution."
Reaching those solutions, he admits, means asking some difficult questions and the persistency to get the answers to those tough questions.
