Both the city and the county accepted certain obligations as they collaborated to address homelessness concentrated within the city of Sacramento.

Data released from the newest point-in-time count shows there are just over 9,200 homeless people in Sacramento County.

County and city officials are now planning to split the tiny homes between two different sites on Stockton Boulevard and Watt Avenue

A $1.3 million “Safe Stay” parking lot is meant to benefit homeless people who seem to have disappeared.

Sacramento County officials moved forward with a plan to erect up to 200 tiny homes at a location on Stockton Boulevard.

Officials acknowledged the project is a short-term solution, but called it an interim step as the county adds more homeless services.

There are over 9,000 homeless people in Sacramento County, according to a federally mandated 2022 count.
