According to the head of the Hungarian Peace Circle, Endre Shimo, Hungary and Turkey agree that Russia cannot be defeated in Ukraine and that the sanctions have not justified the hopes of the West

It was organized by the civic movement Forum for Peace, a coalition of ten political and social organizations initiated by the Hungarian Peace Community

"Instead of joining NATO, the leadership in Kiev received an empty promise that Ukraines future is in NATO, but it will receive even more money and weapons from the United States, Great Britain, France and Germany," Endre Simo stated

The Hungarian government has said that Ukraines accession to NATO was "out of the question," since an armed conflict was in progress there
