MUMBAI: The EPFO’s provisional payroll data released on 20th April, 2024 shows that EPFO has added 15.

The EPFOs provisional payroll data for February 2024 reveals a significant increase of 15.48 lakh net members, with the 18-25 age group constituting 56.36% of new additions. The data also shows a positive trend in female employment, with around 2.05 lakh new female members added during the month. The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) in India saw a record high in formal job creation, adding 1.87 million net subscribers in July. However, formal jobs created under the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) fell by 1.9% to 1.98 million in July.
