India economy news: Private sector's default on PF dues has risen by almost 10% in last 5 yrs, says EPFO's draft report
The private sectors default on provident fund dues with the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has increased by almost 10% over the last five years, resulting in arrears of over Rs 15,000 crore for the retirement fund body in 2022-23. The majority of these defaults occurred in the first two years of the pandemic.
