KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 16): The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has revised its Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) framework to enable business combinations via the issuance of securities as consideration for the qualifying acquisition (QA), as opposed to the current requirement of cash acquisitions only.
