With Pompey Women to be integrated alongside the men’s team at Portsmouth FC, new investment will allow semi-professional contracts

Portsmouth Women's manager Jay Sadler has become the club's first full-time member of staff, as he takes on a number of new responsibilities.

Former Pompey defender Linvoy Primus has joined Portsmouth FC Women as their club ambassador. His role will be to help progress the club forward, while also supporting the board and the backroom staff. Chairman Eric Coleborn told portsmouthfc.co.uk: “What a fantastic Christmas present and a great way to end a very difficult year! “Linvoy is a legend at this football club and will be a fantastic ambassador for our club.
