A McIntosh County man filed a wrongful death suit against two Cherokee Nation surgeons after his wife died following a colonoscopy procedure.

April is Photography Month in northern California. It was initiated by the Viewpoint Photographic Art Center in Sacramento to celebrate and elevate the art of photography.

Rick Aeschliman’s photograph, “Moonlight Falls Serenity,” was awarded the Best Photo of the Year by the Nevada County Camera Club at its annual awards presentation via Zoom on Saturday.
